Accommodations

Lisa and Chirayu want to have their friends and family close to them throughout their celebration. To make certain as many guests as possible can be close to the celebration, Lisa and Chirayu have contracted for a block of rooms at Homestead Resort. We are coordinating room bookings for the room block so please let us know what room(s) you're looking for.

Here is a description of the room types:

Double Queen - includes the Modern Queen and Cottage Queen Rooms

  • Double Queen rooms sleep 4

King - includes the Modern King and Cottage King - includes a sofa sleeper

  • Homestead Resort is giving us the same price for Modern King and Cottage King rooms
  • All King rooms include a sofa sleeper
  • The sofa sleeper is cot-sized and is not suitable for older children and adults
  • King rooms can sleep two adults and 1 small child

King Suite - Includes the Cottage King Suite and Luxury King Suite

  • Homestead Resort is giving us the same price for the Cottage King Suite and the Luxury King Suite
  • The Cottage King Suite is larger than the King room and includes a sofa sleeper
  • Cottage King Suite rooms can sleep two adults and 1 small child
  • The sofa sleeper is cot-sized and is not suitable for older children and adults
  • The Luxury King Suite includes a bathtub and larger bathroom, but does not include a sofa sleeper
  • Luxury King Suite rooms can sleep two adults

Midway and Homestead Resort

Midway is a resort town located 51 miles (about a 53 minute drive) Southeast of Salt Lake International Airport. Midway was settled in 1859 by Swiss immigrants and you'll find touches of Switzerland through the city. Several films have been made in Midway including 127 Hours, Everwood the 2019 Hallmark movie, The Mistletoe Secret and an episode of The Bachelor.

Homestead Resort began as the Schneitter Hotel around 1886 and has grown and survived throughout the years. Many people who live in other parts of Utah have made lunch or dinner at Homestead a family tradition spanning generations. Newly-renovated, Homestead Resort brings the charm of an earlier era with all the amenities of a modern hotel.

Once you get here, we know you'll understand why Lisa and Chirayu decided this was the perfect place for their wedding.
