Destination Wedding Giveaway Information and Rules



Destination Inspiration, in cooperation with other Service Providers, has been looking forward to taking the public behind the scenes of a real destination wedding, with a real couple. To do this, we’re excited to announce the Destination Wedding Giveaway 2024. One lucky couple will be selected as the winner of Destination Wedding Giveaway 2024 and the public will be able to watch this process unfold.

Process

Initially, couples are invited to submit applications to Destination Inspiration for consideration in the destination wedding giveaway. Destination Inspiration and the other Service Providers will select the Finalists (not to exceed ten finalists). The Finalists will then be notified and must sign an agreement with Destination Inspiration. Once the agreement is signed, the Finalists will be presented to the public and the public will select the winner. All other finalists will be ranked in order of the number of votes. An alternate finalist may be selected as the winner if the winner is unable to meet the requirements of the Destination Wedding Giveaway.

Once the winner is selected, the public will be able to observe and vote on many parts of the wedding, for example, “which arch do you like better?” Destination Inspiration will post to social media regularly so the public can understand the process involved in creating a successful destination wedding.

Before applying, please read all the rules carefully. While an exact date can’t be given at the start of the contest, once the couple, country and venue are selected the date will be finalized. Before applying make certain you have the following dates available:

November 6-10, 2024,
November 20-24, 2024,
February 5-9, 2025,
February 12-16, 2025, and
February 26-March 2, 2025.


Couple and Venue Selection Timeline:

March 22, 2024 - Couple Applications Open,
April 19, 2024, 11:59 pm Mountain Daylight Time - Couple Applications Close,
April 22, 2024 - Finalists Selected,
April 25, 2024 - Finalists Notified,
April 26-29, 2024 - Finalists Contracts signed and highlight videos created,
May 3-12, 2024 - Finalists Voting,
Week of May 13, 2024 - Winner Announced,
May 14, 2024 - Venue location voting starts.


Rules

If you are interested in winning the Destination Wedding Giveaway, please read through the following rules and make certain you can meet the requirements.

Couple grants all Service Providers the right to use their name, image, likeness, and appearances whether in print, online (digital, or other format) to promote Service Providers services.
The Service Providers will consult with Couple on the wedding design; however, Couple agrees to allow votes by the public to determine the look and feel of their wedding (e.g. wedding arch type, final invitations, decor, flowers, etc.) The Couple expressly agrees that it does not have the right to change such determinations without the written consent of Destination Inspiration. This provision is a material part of this contract.
Couple must ensure a minimum of 50 guests will attend the wedding for a minimum of 4 nights. If fewer than 50 guests attend the wedding, Couple will reimburse the Service Providers for any charges incurred by Service Providers due to less than contracted guests. A guest is defined as a person staying at the resort for a minimum number of 4 nights.
Couple agrees the wedding ceremony will be a symbolic ceremony and may not be legally binding in the United States.
Couple agrees to be legally married in the United States at least 1 month before the destination wedding provided by the Service Providers.
Couple agrees to arrive at least two days prior to the Rehearsal Dinner.
Couple agrees to indemnify and hold harmless all Service Providers.
Prices for Couple's guests are estimated to be less than $400/person, per night. Single-occupancy rooms might incur a surcharge.
Couple must have valid passports at least 4 months prior to the wedding, and they must not expire within 6 months after the wedding.
Couple agrees to follow all Service Providers on their social media accounts as identified in the section Service Providers Social Media Accounts.
Only the services provided in the section Service Providers Services are included in the giveaway, and Destination Inspiration is not responsible for any services other than those outlined in the Service Providers Services section. Any additional services require a separate agreement with the Service Provider and are the sole responsibility of the Service Provider and Couple.
While exact dates can't be given, the Couple must be prepared, at this time, to be present at the destination wedding for any of the following dates: November 6-10, 2024, November 20-24, 2024, February 5-9, 2025, February 12-16, 2025 or February 26-March 2, 2025. Once the public has selected the country and venue, the Couple must be available and present for the final dates of the wedding.
No Couple will be disqualified if, for National Security reasons, e.g. serving in a branch of the U.S. Military, one or both are unable to travel to specific countries. Should this happen, Destination Inspiration will ensure the wedding is located in a country the Couple may travel to.
Should the Couple be unable to complete the terms of this agreement, Destination Inspiration reserves the right to engage an alternate based upon the number of votes received by the Finalists.
Should a Service Provider be unable to fulfill their obligations under the contract, Destination Inspiration reserves the right to use another Service Provider to fulfill the conditions of the giveaway. Couple will be informed via email and they will need to follow the new Service Provider.

Location (Destination Inspiration) - The location of the wedding will be selected in the following order. Destination Inspiration will select 3 countries, these countries will be shared with Couple and then posted on Social Media Sites. The location with the most likes on the pages will become the wedding location. This is a $1500 Value

Planning: Hoopes Events will plan the wedding securing the florist, menu, paper goods and decor. Each of these categories will have 3 choices which will be placed on social media. The choices receiving the most wins will be the items that will be used for the wedding. $25,000 Value

Wedding Hotel and Flight - Destination Inspiration will provide 4 nights accommodations, and round trip airfare from a US gateway city to the destination in coach for Couple. A gateway city is defined as a non-stop flight from a U.S. city to the closest airport near the wedding venue. $1,200 Value

Photos - Morgan Leigh Photography will provide photography coverage for the following events:
Engagement session anywhere in the contiguous US
Rehearsal dinner/welcome party coverage
Wedding day coverage up to 12 hours.
Online proofing gallery
30 page custom designed wedding album

DJ/MC - Powell Weddings & Events will provide the following DJ/MC services contingent on the venue sound requirements:
Master of Ceremonies services for rehearsal dinner and wedding day (ceremony-couples exit).
Access to personalized music planning app for all events
2 consultations discussing music ideas. Can be in person or over the phone depending on couples location.
Coordinate sound systems for above listed events.
Create custom mashups or edits for special dances if desired.
